It might be a technical issue with my particular amp though, as most people are not complaining about noise. It gets tons of noise at high gain settings, regardless of volume. My only major gripe with the amp (and that's probably just my particular one) is how noisy the dirty channel gets. It can go from almost clean to high gain and anything in between. The dirty channel is fantastic, and the gain range is very wide, and well tuned.
It breaks up beautifully at high volumes, and I find that very useful for pairing with fuzzes, or pushing it into distortion with overdrive pedals.
I like how the clean channel sounds, although I find it a bit dark for my tastes. It's light enough to carry for small distances, even for a skinny guy like me. I love how it looks, and the reliability that comes with it being solid state. I bought this amp second hand 4 years ago, and it has been my rehearsing and gigging amp ever since.
